Yesterday, my friend and I went to Karaoke City, a place in Koreatown, to sing our hearts out! (badly) And we really loved it!!
I’m not usually one for karaoke, usually it’s singing in front of a lot of strangers, and I’m not the best singer in the world… but here, you get your own private room, and a very long list of songs to chose from! (they have no shortage of kpop and jpop for those who are wondering, however, it’s all in Hangul)
When we first walked in, it looked empty, but someone came from the staff room and was very eager to help us work the controls and everything. After we knew how to work everything, we had an absolute blast singing and dancing around the room!
The only drawback is that it’s $40 per hour, but, it’s $20 per hour on your first time, and we were also given coupons for one free hour on Mondays-Thursday.
While it’s pricey, we really had a good time there! I’d definately recommend you see if you like it!
